Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 can sardines
  • 1 roasted pepper sliced
  • 1/2 tomato sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tbsp vinegar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • Oregano to taste

Instructions

  • First of all, begin by roasting the red pepper in the air fryer for 8 minutes at 215°C. After roasting, transfer it to a bowl and cover it with a plate. This creates a steaming environment that helps the pepper cool and makes it easier to peel. The steaming process ensures that the skin can be removed effortlessly.
  • Then, toasting the bread in the toaster or air fryer. Set aside.
  • Slice the tomato, then combine it with thinly sliced red pepper. Drizzle with olive oil, vinegar, and add salt, oregano, and garlic powder to taste.
  • Spread this mixture over the toasted bread.
  • Place the sardine on top.
