Start by combining the oats and milk or vegetable milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir well and add a pinch of salt. Stir well again.
When it starts to thicken, stir vigorously and turn off the heat. It will already be somewhat creamy.
Add the egg and mix very well and very quickly, so that the egg doesn't cook.
Add the cinnamon, to taste, and mix well.
Divide into bowls and serve with slices of kiwi and yellow kiwi.
Add more cinnamon on top if you like.
Notes
There is no sugar in this recipe, but if you like your oatmeal a little sweeter, you can add fruit puree, stevia or maple syrup (or any other sweetener of choice).Use whatever fruit you like best. I love kiwi, but it's great with berries, apple, mango, tangerines, etc. Choose what the toppings you like! You can make this oatmeal the day before so you don't waste time in the morning. Add a little water or milk/vegetable milk to the pot and heat over medium or low heat. You can also heat in the microwave, using the same method, but stir with a spoon when you take it out of the microwave, so that the liquid is well incorporated and maintains its creaminess.
