Let me tell you a bit about my story… I graduated in Business&Management, did my Masters in Management with a major in Marketing and followed the path of most young people my age. I’ve been through several companies throughout my professional career, but always felt like I needed more. Something outside my professinal scope that would give me drive. And so I created my project, allowing me to do what I LOVE. I am passionate about food, restaurants and I love trying new flavors. Photographing delicious food and beautiful places is my biggest hobby, especially when there is an interesting story to tell between bites and laughs. A typical millennial perhaps, but the truth is that it is this world that revolves around these new gastronomic experiences that makes me tick and makes me want to try more things, to travel the world in search of new cultures and their foods, and makes me so happy when I enter my kitchen and let myself go. For a few years I lived with the ghosts of ideal weight and was constantly on crazy diets, to the point where I stopped eating the things I really liked. At some point in my life I realized that there is no point in being restricted all the time when I can simply live a balanced life without depriving myself of what I like all the time. And, more importantly, I was faced with the fact that I stopped doing one of the things that makes me happiest: EATING. Accepting that I am much more than a number on a scale was with no doubt a key step on this pricess.Of course these ghosts didn’t disappear overnight, and from time to time they still knock on my door to see if I’m still scared of them. But over these years I have realized that it is possible to be happy and have a good relationship with food.Alida’s Food is a part of me, it’s my creative space, and it holds a very special place in my heart! I want to show you that it is possible to live happy and healthy without having to stop eating everything you like and saying NO to your social life. I will show you that there are no cheat days because every day is good to eat what you want as long as you feel good and happy with yourself and your life. Here you can find delicious recipes that I make at home, created by me. These are the foods I eat in my everyday life, for real! Most are healthy, but some are good to feed the soul, the heart, and the stomach, because that’s part of a real, balanced life! I don’t make recipes that I don’t like or that have ingredients that I don’t eat (you’re not going to find recipes with banana for example – you can laugh all you want). My goal is to inspire you to cook more and better, have fun in the kitchen, and be happier, nourishing your body well! It’s time to put on your apron and get all the ingredients. Are you ready to start this adventure? Hi, my name is Alida
